Create Work Order for Existing Physcial Inventory

Follow these steps to upload current Existing Physical Inventory to be accessible to sell through ShedCloud.

Instructions for how to upload Existing Physical Inventory

1. Go to Manufacturing Module and select Work Orders from the list. 
    
2. From the Work Order list, click on the Create button to add a new Work Order. 
    
3. In the first section, find the Type of Purchase field and select "Existing Physical Inventory"
   • The New Build option will allow you to create a new Inventory item manually. Learn More
      
4. After selecting purchase type, next we need to select which Plant > Warehouse > Bay it was manufactured in then the Building Location would be the sales location it's currently at.

5. Then you'll go back to step 1, select the product and size the continue to Open in 3D to configure this building. Since you've selected the Building Location already, it will inherit the pricing from that location based from your price levels on finished goods.
    
6. Within the 3D Configurator, select all applicable options/upgrades. If there is anything custom on this existing building you're unable to configure, you do have the option to upload original paperwork that can be seen when selling this inventory in a later step. 
    
7. Once you have all the information correct, be sure to click "Save Information" on the 3D and wait till it saves then click "Return to Work Order". 
8. Now you can enter the existing serial Number, select what type of inventory it is, enter a set price for the building, and upload any additional images or files pertaining to this building.
    

   If you go back to edit the product, warning, you will loose the info of serial number, price and photos uploaded. It's ok, you'll just need to enter that info again if you need to make an update to the 3D design. For anything that cannot/isn't available to show digitally, please make sure the work order document is shown in the uploaded images.

   
   

   
   
9. Next enter the delivery address, this can be the address where the building is located at now if you don't have a future delivery address for the serial number. 
    
10. And finish up your progress by clicking the confirm box in the last step and Saving your changes. 
     
11. You can then find these created "Existing physical inventory" work orders within the status of Completed > "Finished at Shop" under Manufacturing in main menu. 

If you need to edit the product configuration on 3D again, you'll need to "remove product" and start all over with building the configuration. The rest of the WO would remain untouched unless you edit that as well.
